Cybersecurity Product Engineer
Help build security capabilities across Discover, Evidence, Prioritize, Act, Validate, and Assure.
About the role
Join our engineering team to design and implement security capabilities for exposure assessment, prioritization, action, and validation. You will connect offensive security research with product engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer automated security scanning and discovery engines that operate across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
- Develop risk prioritization algorithms that transform raw vulnerabilities into actionable business intelligence.
- Build secure-by-default remediation workflows for enterprise ecosystems.
- Validate the effectiveness of security controls through continuous, automated testing.
Product scope
Our approach carries evidence through each stage of the security lifecycle. Your work will help teams verify whether the security condition changed.
What we’re looking for
- Strong background in security engineering or offensive security research.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Rust preferred).
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security.
- Experience building or maintaining security tooling at scale.
- Passion for automating complex security processes.
What this role is not
This is an engineering role rather than a traditional SOC analyst or compliance role. The focus is building security capabilities, rather than routine ticket triage or reporting.
What success looks like
Aim for security workflows that connect findings to decisions, action, and evidence that can be inspected.
Your opportunity
As an engineering hire, you will have significant ownership of product direction and work directly with our founders.
We’re looking for builders who want to work on security challenges with care and technical ownership.
